APPLICATIONS

Install RC and SC Series clamp-mounting loudspeaker assemblies wherever paging, intercom, and background music are desired in open ceiling applications. These ready-to-install units combine exceptional performance and fast installation into one complete package making them ideal for use in open ceiling venues such as: retail superstores, warehouses, light industrial facilities, multi-purpose athletic buildings, cafeterias, and convention/civic centers.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Pre-assembled units feature an 8" dual-cone loudspeaker with a 25/70.7-volt transformer mounted within a round (RC Series) or square (SC Series) enclosure with matching baffle.

Loudspeaker selection includes 15-watt or 25-watt Model C5A or C10A, respectively. (See chart below for loudspeaker and transformer specifications.) All assemblies include two, easy- to-secure screw-down clamps mounted to the top of the enclosure. Clamps provide for quick and easy mounting onto beams, girders, and other surfaces (max. ½" thick) common to open-ceiling installations. (See Fig. 2 & Fig. 4)

The round RC Series package includes a modified version of the popular CS95-8NS enclosure with the aesthetically pleasing, Model 51-8 baffle. This screw-mount grille features a circular perforation pattern and one-piece CRS construction.

The square SC Series package includes a modified version of the SE175-4 enclosure paired with the attractive SE161-8 baffle. This grille features one-piece, CRS construction.

Assemblies are shipped ready for installation with lead wires extending out of the enclosure through a wire-securing cable clamp (see Fig. 1 for wiring diagram). Specify black (B) or white (W) finish (example: RC5-T72B).
