ARCHITECTS AND ENGINEERS SPECIFICATIONS

Pre-assembled 5¼" packaged ceiling loudspeaker shall be Soundolier^® Model AS25C. It shall include a coaxial driver with "quick fit" frame and grille. The driver shall include a 5¼" woofer and ½" tweeter. Unit shall handle 20-watts of peak power and 10-watts RMS. Impedance shall be 8 ohms. Voice coil diameter shall be 1" (25mm). Frequency response shall be 125 Hz-20 kHz (±5 dB). Sensitivity shall be 83 dB (1 W / 1M). Speaker shall flush-mount and provide a hardware-free appearance. It shall front-load into ceilings and walls and shall be secured with screwdriver-adjustable clamps. The frame shall be plastic and grille shall be perforated metal.

APPLICATIONS

Soundolier^® Architectural Series Model AS25C offers owners, architects, contractors, and consultants with an economical, attractive, easy-to-install system for extending music into secondary listening areas. Unit offers aesthetic benefits of a hardware-free appearance and can be painted to match any decor. This compact loudspeaker assembly is a reliable choice for residential or commercial applications where an enclosure is not desired or required. For added versatility, the AS25C frame and grille look identical to Soundolier's Architectural Series high performance, in-wall speakers.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The AS25C is a pre-assembled loudspeaker complete with coaxial driver, "quick-fit" frame, and grille. The coaxial driver includes a 5¼" polypropylene woofer and a ½" dome tweeter. It handles 20 watts of peak music power and 10-watts RMS. It has 8 ohm impedance and a frequency response of 125 Hz-20 kHz (±5 dB).

Constructed for acoustic, design, and installation flexibility, Model AS25C provides reliable performance and mounts easily into ceilings or walls of limited depth. Speaker installs quickly into the ceilings or walls with screwdriver-adjustable clamps which provide a hardware-free appearance. The speaker installs flush and the plastic frame and perforated metal grille can be painted. The unit was designed to look like Soundolier's high-performance Architectural Series in-wall speaker systems.
