APPLICATIONS

Integrate great sound and great style with the Soundolier® THP-1 freestanding subwoofer. Display it out in the open with other furnishings or behind the scenes in an upright or horizontal position. The classic elegance of the design makes it an excellent choice for use in home theaters and other areas of a house.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The THP-1 is a powerful 100 watt subwoofer that delivers extended bass and theater-quality sound. This high-performance unit includes dual, 8" (203mm) drivers for bass response down to 38Hz. Each driver features a 1½" (38mm) voice coil and 21 oz. magnet. Gold-plated terminals are provided on the back for dual or single channel connection. Cabinet features a contemporary curved design accentuated by the lacquer-like "Baby Grand Black" (E) or "Winter White" (W) finishes and matching cloth grille. The THP-1 is engineered for use with the THP-CXB subwoofer amplifier (order separately - refer to spec sheet SL1-1596 for more information on the THP-CXB subwoofer amplifier).

ARCHITECTS AND ENGINEERS' SPECIFICATIONS

Freestanding subwoofer shall be Soundolier Series THP-1. Power rating shall be 100 watts RMS. Frequency response of the unit shall be 38-500Hz (-6dB @ 45Hz) (-10dB @ 38Hz) and the sensitivity shall be 90dB at 1W/1M. It shall be comprises of two 8" woofers. Voice coils shall measure 1½" and magnet weight shall be 21 oz. for each driver. Unit shall feature gold-plated terminals on the back for dual or single channel connection. Subwoofer cabinet shall have a lacquer-like finish in Baby Grand Black (THP-1 E) or Winter White (THP-1W). Unit shall be powered by the THP-CXB subwoofer amplifier electronic crossover system (order separately).
