APPLICATIONS

Utilize Atlas/Soundolier RC Series loudspeakers when audio reproduction and dependable service life are required for mobile, industrial and marine communication applications. Mode/s with the stationary mount are ideal for installation on utility, municipal, maintenance/service, construction, school and public transportation vehicles. Typical applications for Model RCM-15 with an adjustable mount base are manufacturing, warehouse, drive-in and shipboard facilities.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION

RC Series weather-resistant loudspeakers extend communications, intercom, radio-telephone, alarm and signaling systems in vehicular and industrial applications. Each unit has a high-efficiency compression driver which concentrates the reproduction of sound in the voice and signaling frequencies. When used in conjunction with radio communications, these loudspeakers optimize frequency response in the most desirable range for maximum clarity. Models are element and vibration-resistant and available with stationary or adjustable mounting bases. They are equipped with a self-aligning, replaceable diaphragm and are finished in durable grey epoxy.

RCC-15. Unit features a wide-angle, low-silhouette fiberglass bell for horizontal dispersion emphasis and reduced wind-resistance and is equipped with a metal, right angle mounting bracket to provide stable support and reduced resonance. Dimensions: 5 3/8"H x 9½"W x 8¼" Deep (140 x 241 x 210mm). Overall height is 6W.

RCM-15. Model is ideal for installing on roofs, fenders and towbars. It incorporates an omni-directional adjustable mounting base for variable positioning of sound direction in both vertical and horizontal planes. The rugged, all-metal construction resists mechanical damage encountered in mobile communication applications. Dimensions: 7½ Dia. x 7¼" Deep (191 x 184mm). Overall height is 8¾".

RCR-15. Metal unit concentrates its sound distribution in a uniform 120º pattern for applications requiring localized communications. The rigid 90º stationary installation-bracket is pre-drilled for secure mounting and assures stability in severe operational environments.Dimensions: 7½' Dia. x 7½" Deep (191x191 mm). Overall height is 7½.
