APPLICATIONS Install Atlas/Soundolier Series 19-8 square baffles wherever the crisp, clean lines of a mesh-style baffle will blend with architectural decor.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION Model 19-8 and T19-8 baffles consist of an all perforated front with a solid speaker subplate to prevent bass leak. The bafflels constructed of heavy 22-gauge CRS for strength and the sub-plate is manufactured of 20-gauge CRS. Four weld studs are provided on the back of the assembly for mounting a standard 8" (203mm) loudspeaker. Model 19-8 installs with standard hardware to specified enclosures or mounting rings. Model T19-8 includes a torsion spring assembly for efficient and hardware-free installation to specified enclosure or mounting rings. Finish is textured white epoxy. ARCHITECTS' AND ENGINEERS' SPECIFICATIONS The all-perforated square recessed baffle shall be Atlas/Soundolier Model 19-8 (T19-8) or approved equal. The baffle shall consist of an all-perforated grille with a solid steel loudspeaker subplate. Subplate shall be equipped with welded studs for mounting a standard 8" (203mm) loudspeaker. Construction shall be of 22-gauge CRS. Baffle dimensions shall be 12 3/8" (314mm) square x ½"(13mm) projection and will be either a screw mount (19-8) or a torsion mount (T19-8). Baffle will mount to Atlas/Soundolier Model protective enclosure or Atlas/Soundolier Model mounting ring or approved equal. The baffle shall be finished in textured white. Note: For proper support, torsion spring grilles should not be used with loudspeaker assemblies exceeding 5 Ibs.
