FEATURES
APPLICATIONS Install Atlas/Soundolier MRB Series wherever flush-mount floor receptacle boxes are needed for the connection of microphones and other accessories on stages and in auditoriums, churches, and public meeting places. GENERAL DESCRIPTION MRB Series. Microphone receptacle floor box with easy-open lid provides convenient and tool-free access to microphone connector. The lid is mounted on a pin hinge that lifts and swings to the side for access and then falls flush with the floor when not in use. Assembly contains four leveling legs welded to a 4" octagon box. I MRB Series models are offered with a choice of four mounting plates punched to accept a variety of connectors or with factory-installed connectors (see chart below). Blank plate Model MRB-PL may be ordered separately. Lid and trim cover are cast commercial red brass with a brushed finish: receptacle plate is spun aluminum. Optional carpet trim ring Model MRB-TR is available for use in carpeted areas and provides an attractive finished appearance. It is fastened to the octagon box and has no protruding hardware. ARCHITECTS AND ENGINEERS' SPECIFICATIONS Microphone floor receptacle shall be Atlas/Soundolier MRB Series Model. Lid and cover shall be solid cast commercial red brass with a brushed finish. Lid shall require no tools for opening and shall be flush with the floor when closed. Receptacle shall have an adapter punched for a micro-phone connector. A standard 4" (102 mm) octagon box shall be furnished with four leveling legs and four leveling screws. For installation in carpeted areas, optional carpet trim ring Model MRB-TR shall be ordered.
