GENERAL DESCRIPTION Atlas/Soundolier intercom stations provide service reliability, attractive appearance and cost efficient installation. Factory assemblies are comprised of a high-quality 3" diameter loud- speaker with permanent magnet riveted to a two or three gang brushed stainless steel mounting plate. For call origination or privacy control functions, stations are offered with one or two SPDT push-button switches. For distributed system application, models are also available with factory-installed 70.7 or 25 volt transformer (suffix model with -T70 or -T25). Optional stamped and paint filled lettering ("CALL" and/or "TALK") is also available (see below for style designation). ASSEMBLIES FOR RECESSED INSTALLATION Series 3000 intercom stations are two and three gang recessed mounting assemblies which attach to conduit outlet boxes utilizing plaster rings of the required size or to masonry type boxes with the proper dimensions. Total depth required is 2-¼ inches. All models are shipped factory wired and ready to install. ENCLOSURES FOR SURFACE INSTALLATION UL Listed enclosure Models E-12 and E-13 provide for surface installation of Series 3000 intercom stations. Two and three gang units respectively, are finished in neutral grey epoxy. Wiring access is provided by a combination knockout in the enclosure rear and a ½" knockout in the bottom. Unit is also equipped with two mounting holes for standard outlet box installation. LETTERING STYLES All lettering shown below is 3/16"H, stamped and black paint filled. See model descriptions on the left for available lettering styles.
