THE PRODUCTS
AVONITE® is the brand name for a patented, non-porous, man-made surfacing material that has a multitude of commercial and
residential uses.
AVONITE Inc. is the only solid surface manufacturer in the world offering three different types of solid surface products.
Class I Products. AVONITE's Class I Products are comprised of a mixture of unsaturated polyester resin polymer and alumina
trihydrate filler. They carry a Class I Fire Rating, are suited well for high use applications requiring durable surfaces with minimal
maintenance, and can be produced in a range of custom colors. Call us on any questions where a custom color can meet your needs.
Formstone Products. AVONITE's FORMSTONE products are comprised of a mixture of 100% acrylic resin polymer and alumina
trihydrate filler. They carry a Class I Fire Rating, are recommended for similar types of applications as Class I Products, and have the
added advantage of being thermo-formed to the tightest of radiuses. FORMSTONE products are limitless in width and lengths for larger

Class III Products. AVONITE's Class III Products are comprised of unsaturated polyester resin polymer. They offer greater
translucency, higher luster and scratches are less visible than darker colored Class I Products. Dark color may require additional care to
maintain the high polished looks so popular in these colors. A high polished look is typically installed in limited use and wear applications.
