The One-Step Rim Board Component of the Simple Framing System

Boise Cascade makes designing homes easier by providing a one-step rim board designed to be part of the Simple Framing System. This product is Boise Cascade's Rim Board.

Following are the advantages of BC Rim Boards.
  • Exactly matches BCI depths.
  • No special backing for siding products.
  • Quicker & easier to install.
  • No more special backing for decks.
  • All in one piece. No squash blocks required.
  • Controlled moisture for consistent sizing.

BC Rim Board is for use as a rim board only. Do not use it as a beam or header.
