The BC Calc Program allows the user to size BCI Joists and Versa-Lam beams to carry uniform, tapered or concentrated loads over simple or multiple spans. Special features of the program include custom web hole analysis and simple hip beam sizing.

The BC Calc program is available on CD-ROM or 3 1/2" disks for Microsoft^® Windows^® 95 / NT / 3.1x operating systems.

BC Calc assists designers, architects and engineers in the selection of BCI joists and Versa-Lam beam products. The program prints out a design report that displays the final design information along with the engineering criteria required to verify the analysis.

The BC Framer program is an easy-to-use, stand alone, computer aided drafting program developed specifically for presentation of Boise Cascade engineered wood product floor and roof systems.

The format and content of the drawing can be customized to suit the needs of the user. BC Framer interacts with BC Calc to permit structural analysis of the proposed framing. Special features include an extensive detail library, automatic generation of material scheduled and optional three-dimensional presentation of the framing system.
