- For multiple holes, the amount of web to be left between holes must equal twice the length of the largest adjacent hole.
- Holes may be positioned vertically anywhere within the web.
- Assumes uniformly loaded joists supporting the maximum loads shown on any table in this design guide. For other load conditions, contact your local distributor or BC CALC software.
* For rectangular holes, use longest dimensions of hole size to obtain (D) from table, then add 12".
