fully automatic access control for interior or exterior use. Incorporating all of the principle advantages of
revolving door systems -such as barrier and draft-free access, noise reduction and energy efficiency - the
EntréMatic KDBC-4 provides a level of control that conventional doors simply cannot match. Plus, the
EntréMatic KDBC-4 provides a cost-effective alternative to conventional monitoring systems and manned
stations.
Intelligent Control
Monitored by a microprocessor-equipped control unit, the EntréMatic KDBC-4 access control revolving door can be connected to any
compatible direct or remote access control system, including cards, code locks, biometrics and voice recognition. And the system can be
programmed to suit your individual needs, for complete flexibility. The integrated, solid-state control unit enables users to monitor entry and
exit independently, allowing for controlled access, free access or no access, in each direction.
Uncompromising Security
The EntréMatic KDBC-4 ensures strict access control, with state-of-the-art security features that prevent any system violation. Anti-tailgating
logic recognizes unauthorized users attempting to gain access in either the quadrant behind, or in the direction opposite an authorized user.
Both conditions initiate door reversal, which backs the offenders out of the door.

Essential Safeguards
With its extensive safety features, the EntréMatic KDBC-4 keeps users as safe as they are secure. Emergency breakaway allows the wings to
be swung open, to provide a clear evacuation path. In addition, an automatic fire release rotates the wings to a central position and initiates
the emergency breakaway function.

An authorized user (A) activates the door by using the auto-access control
system. An unauthorized user (U) attempts to enter at the same time, from
the other direction. |
Two security floor mats distinguish between the authorized and
unauthorized user and signal the door to stop its rotation. The rotation of
the door is also stopped if an unauthorized user follows behind. |

The presence of an unauthorized user prompts the revolving door to
automatically reverse direction, pre- venting both the entry of the
unauthorized user, and the entrapment of any user. |
Once the unauthorized user backs out, rotation automatically resumes, so
that the authorized user can complete passage through the door. |
