Certifications - 6K: ANSI A156.2, Series 4000, Grade 2.

8K: ANSI A156.2, Series 4000, Grade 1. Federal Specifications F-H-00106C/Gen. Listed by Underwriter's Laboratories for use on 3 hour, A label single swinging doors. GYJT builders hardware-single point locks or latches.

For UL: GYQS electrically controlled single point locks or latches.

Chassis - 2 1/16" (52.32mm) diameter.

Material - Internal parts are corrosion treated steel.

Backset - 6K: 2 3/8" (60.45mm) standard, 2 3/4" (69.85mm) and 5" (127mm) available. 8K: 2 3/4" (60.45mm) standard, 3 3/4" (95.25mm) and 5" (127mm) available.

Latch - 6K: 62K series, 1/2" (12.7mm) throw. Front 2 1/4" (57.15mm) x 1" (25.4mm), 63K series, 2 1/4" (57.15mm) x 1 1/8" (28.7mm).

Strike - STK (standard) - 2 3/4" (69.85mm) x 1 1/8" (28.7mm) with curved lip and box (ANSI A115.3).

S3 - 4 7/8" (123.95mm) x 1 1/4" (31.75mm) with curved lip and box available (ANSI A115.2)

Door Thickness - 6K: Adjustable from 1 3/8" (35.05mm) to 1 7/8" (47.75mm) standard. Thicker door require use of Best Lock 8K heavy duty series. 8K: Adjustable from 1 3/8" (35.05mm) to 2" (50.8mm) standard. Special "E" trim rose for 2 1/8" (54.10mm) to 3" (76.2mm) doors. "B" trim rose for 1 3/4" (44.45mm) to 2" (50.8mm) door only.
