Keys - A Series
Best key blanks are made of nickel-silver compound and 2 cut standard bow keys are
provided with keyed locksets. The bow styles shown are available in various keyways and
maybe special stamped such as KS112 - "U.S. Gov't Do Not Duplicate." The 4A
access bow complies with handicap codes for hotel/motel locks. (i.e. California
Administrative Code - Title 24)
Padlocks - B Series
All Best padlocks utilize the interchangeable core which allows immediate rekeying at
minimal cost. Padlocks are available in various case sizes and bronze or steel shackle
sizes (see chart below). Available options include key retained/non key retained, bronze
or steel chains, special case embossing, corrosion resistance, car seal, etc.

Cylinders - E Series
Best mortise and rim cylinders are machined from solid brass or bronze bar stock and
available in all standard finishes. Mortise cylinders are adaptable for use with other
manufacturer's locks by specifying the proper cam. (i.e. C4-standard cam, C181-Adams rite
cam, etc). Mortise cylinders have the added security of an internal set screw that mounts
diagonally in the cylinder wall and when tightened, holds the cylinder securely in the
housing. Rim cylinders may be used with a variety of surface mounted lock hardware.
