Lightweight Smith Hoist components have always been easy to assemble. Now, to facilitate on-site installation, an optional "installer's Helper" Package includes a small portable hoists that lifts the swing beam hoisting apparatus to its destination.

NEW WINCH ASSEMBLY (shown with Honda engine) is compatible with Briggs, Wisconsin, and most other engines. Previously sold Smith winch assemblies can be retrofitted to accommodate any of them. The Smith winch assembly also functions as part of the counterbalancing system.

HYDRAULIC OPERATION sets the standard for operator ease and efficiency, and also reduces the chance of error because the operator is positioned to see the load being lifted and lowered at all times.
