FEATURES

While BIKE-ROOT stanchions support the "after" part of the frame at the Seat Tube, BIKE-POST units support the "forward" part at the DownTube. Security is achieved by inserting a "U"-shaped lock or cable through the yoke on the upper rear face of the stanchion whose slanted pair of yokes on the front face confine the Tube, then surrounding it and the adjacent wheel. High security is achieved by wrapping the available 6' long, coated steel coiler cable around the other wheel and then securing its looped end to the same lock.

CAPACITIES / DIMENSIONS

BIKE-ROOT and BIKE-POST racks are available as single units for single bikes (see drawings below and at right), as modules for UPS shipment, to be bolted together at the site, and as preassembled racks with multiple stanchions welded on 2' centers to common bases (see plan at right and table below). These are shipped by motor freight.
