DESCRIPTION

New for the 90'ies, Bike-Slot^® moderate security bike racks, with their sturdy, Schedule 40 steel pipe construction, provide an improved design for cyclists accustomed to improvising with the obsolete "radiator" style racks still found on campuses occasionally.

FEATURES

The Bike-Slot's Header Tube, upon which the front end of the bike frame is hung (see details below), is coated with baked vinyl abrasion-resistant protection for painted finishes. Moderate security arises from securing the Down Tube, front wheel and bike rack uprights with a "U"-shaped lock or padlock and cable. Specify either surface-mounted or below grade-mounted styles in various lengths and parking capacities.

USES

Individual units on T-shaped bases and multiple units on common bases are specified for exterior and interior uses on sites with footprints as on Pg.9 and below. For narrower footprints, insufficient for bikes parked at right angles to the rack, diagonally oriented uprights may be used. See plan views below.
