Covers shall each have two heavy duty hinges, EPDM rubber gasket, heavy duty shock absorber and pull handles for inside and outside operation. Torsion rods shall actuate a centrally located operating arm to open the covers against 10 lb/ft2 (49 Kg/m2) snow/wind to the full open position where they will lock automatically. Installation shall be in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. Manufacturer shall guarantee against defects in material or workmanship for a period of five years.
