America's Best Exclusion Netting!
Completely Humane

Birds cannot become entrapped in StealthNet™ The mesh sizes are chosen to be smaller than the bodies of the target species, all but eliminating the risk of bird entrapment.

Buildings with many landing platforms can be totally protected from all birds with Bird Barrier's "face netting".  While barely visible up close, the net literally disappears when you look out a window.

No Opening is Too Big to Protect

Bird Barrier's StealthNet™ is the only net available that comes in custom sizes up to 500 by 500 feet. This means that large, odd-shaped openings can be protected with one, strong piece of netting. Never again will you be forced to connect two pieces of weak netting together rendering an even weaker seam.

Long-Term Solution
StealthNet™ comes with an unconditional five-year guarantee against ultraviolet breakdown. It has been known to last more than ten years when installed according to manufacturer's specifications.

Access is never a problem with Bird Barrier's zippers "hog-ringed" into the netting.
A variety of attachments are available to hold the cable close to your building. Fasteners are available for stone, steel, wood, sheet metal, concrete and stucco in both galvanized and stainless steel.

How to Specify the Best StealthNet™ System
Identify the species of bird to be excluded and choose the mesh size accordingly. Determine the best color for the netting based on the background color (note: if you are netting over windows, black is the least visible when looking out). Measure the opening to be protected, and note the construction materials on all perimeters of the netting. Specify netting and hardware accordingly. And of course, please feel free to call Bird Barrier toll free at 800-503-5444 for any assistance you might need.

StealthNet™ Construction...
Six strands of Polyethylene, each 12/1000", are twisted rope-like into a strong twine. With a breaking strength of 44lbs per strand, StealthNet™ is the strongest bird exclusion netting available. Unlike inferior nets, StealthNet™ twine manufacture incorporates two important steps; first, two strands of twine are twisted together, then three groups of two are twisted again. This double twist adds about thirty percent more strength over nets featuring only a single twist.

Installation of StealthNet™
StealthNet™ is attached to a sturdy perimeter cable which is attached to the structure. The cable is attached to the structure with a variety of fasteners which are specially designed for stone, concrete, wood or steel.
Heavy duty comer attachments are used in the corners or at the ends of the cables. The cable is tensioned using turnbuckles and the net is attached to the cable using hog rings. It is recommended that every square of the net be attached to the cable.

Safety Features
Fire StealthNet™ will not burn, but will melt in the region of 250° F. May be heated up to 600° F for short periods of time.
Water The netting, being of polyethylene, cannot absorb water, and therefore does not gain weight when wet, or rot from moisture.
Electricity Polyethylene is an outstanding electrical insulator.
Insects The fibers are not ingested by insects and are completely resistant to bacteria, mildew and other micro-organisms.
Rot StealthNet™ is totally rot-proof.
Freezing Polyethylene retains its flexibility at very low temperatures and does not become rigid under freezing conditions.
Chemicals Polyethylene is chemically inert and is highly resistant to a wide range of chemicals at ordinary temperatures.
