Bird CoilTM

COIL™   Patent No. 4,841,914
A New Twist to Pigeon Control Bird Barrier's patented Coil™ is the hottest product to hit the bird control industry in the '90s. Made of high-grade stainless steel, this flimsy yet permanent ledge deterrent is finding itself at home on new and renovated buildings every day. The Coil™ has effectively deterred pigeons and larger birds from parapets, ledges and signs all across America. While not recommended for heavy infestations (see StealthNet™ on pages 1-2), the Coil™ effectively deters birds from light to medium pressure landing sites.

Bird Barrier's Coil™ is ideal for long straight runs like the parapet of this building. Barely visible above, the photo shows clearly how user-friendly the CoiI™ looks even close-up.

How It Works
Based on the simple premise that birds like a solid landing platform, the Coil™ de-stabilizes the ledge, causing the unwanted pigeons to take their mess elsewhere.

Almost Invisible
Due to the thin stainless steel used, and the spacing of the Coils, Bird Barrier's Coil™ blends in with any background becoming virtually invisible. From more than fifty feet, people will swear it is not even there.

The Bird Barrier CoiI™ is easy to install and very hard to see, even on low-level ledges Iike this one.

"Are you sure it's there?" is a question commonly asked by people looking for the CoiI™. Proof it's there, a California pest control company during installation.

Easy to Install
Bird Barrier's patented Coil™ Clip is easily glued or screwed to a clean mounting surface every twelve inches. When clip installation is complete (you must wait several hours when applying with glue) the Coil™ is simply snapped into each clip and you're finished.

Materials
Both the Coil™ and its Clips are made of high-grade marine stainless steel. The Coil™ is delivered unpolished so it will not sparkle or shine, and detract from your building's aesthetics.

Humane
The smooth curves of the Coil™ cannot harms birds or humans in any way. Installers who have worked with sharpened "spike" products absolutely love Bird Barrier's Coil™ and you will too.

Less Debris
While most spike products are inclined to retain debris occasionally, the Coil™ literally causes paper and other matter to keep on going. It does not grab the debris like other products.

Other Uses
Bird Barrier's Coil
can be used to keep pigeons, gulls and other large birds off of signs, ledges, parapets, beams, pipes, chimney tops and much more.

How to Specify The CoiI™
Simply measure the length and width of all ledges or landing platforms. Identify the material and decide whether to glue or screw.
