Daddi Long LegsTM

DADDI LONG LEGS™  Patent No. 5,452,536
In a League All Its Own
Bird Barrier's patented Daddi Long Legs is clearly without competition. This unique bird deterrent can be used to keep pigeons and larger birds from landing on small, raised platforms like street lights, air conditioning units, tanks and large pipes. Daddi Long Legs is easy to install, hard to see, and effective. It is available in four and eight foot diameters.

Long, wavy stainless steel rods protrude from a circular, rotating base. Birds just don't like being around it.

On large tanks, Daddi Long Legs is the only way to deter birds without building large net structures, or mounting yards of ledge protectors.

A Delrin swivel base on Bird Barrier's Daddi Long Legs insures long-lasting protection from unwanted birds.

How It Works
Long stainless steel rods extend out from a circular base creating an undesirable environment. While the rods cannot the birds, they obstruct their landing approach by interfering with their wings, bodies and feet. Without becoming entangled, the birds simply move on to another landing platform.

Easy to Install
The Daddi Long Legs can be glued to any surface using an intermediate glue-on base, or screwed to metal or wood using self-tapping screws.

How to Specify Daddi Long Legs
Simply measure the length and width of the landing platform Identify the material and decide whether to glue or screw. And or course, call Bird Barrier for any assistance toll-free at 800-503-5444.

BIRD-SHOCK™  Patent Pending
Safe, Effective Electrical Protection
America's newest weapon against bird infestation Is Bird Barrier's Bird-Shock™ system. Bird Shock delivers a mild, intermittent conditioning (non-lethal) shock to the bird's feet, suggesting in no uncertain terms that they are not welcome. The power, which is supplied by Bird Barrier's Track Charger sends the intermittent signal down the tracks, and can be powered by either 110 volts or a solar panel available from Bird Barrier.

Bird Barrier's low profile Bird-Shock™ is an ideal deterrent for persistent birds of all species.  Measuring less than one half in height, and available in black, white, tile-red or beige, it is the least visible ledge protector available.

Invisible System
The Bird-Shock™ track stands only half an inch tall. And because it is available in beige, black and white, it can usually be matched to your building's colors almost perfectly.

Easy to Install
Bird-Shock™'s tracks are glued to the surface, eliminating the need to drill holes. Bird Barrier Bond is recommended for a secure, long-lasting installation.

Humane
Bird-Shock™'s Track Charger is U.L. approved and cannot deliver a lethal electric charge, even to a small bird. The shock will merely teach unwanted birds that they are no longer welcome on your building.

How to Specify Bird-Shock™
Simply measure the length and width of the landing platforms. Bird-Shock™ tracks are two inches wide, and can have up to a one inch space between tracks. Please feel free to call Bird Barrier for any assistance toll-free at 800-503-5444.

Warning: Bird-Shock™ should only be installed by experienced or certified installers*. Because this system delivers an electrical shock, it should not be installed in areas where people, especially small children, can come into contact with it.  It is best suited for out-of-the-way areas where people are unlikely to be.
