MICRO-TOP

Technical Bulletin

Micro-Top by Bomanite is a unique two part cementitious material that will tenaciously bond to virtually any substrate including concrete, asphalt, wood, metal, and plastic. Micro-Top is a combination of a liquid polymer and a colored powder mixture. The material can be applied with a squeegee or troweled onto the surface at a thickness of approximately 20 mils (less than the thickness of a credit card). A wide range of colors can be applied to create uniformity or blended to create variegation in the finish. In many cases, Micro-Top can eliminate costly abrasive blasting required by other materials, as well as reduce costly forming and coloring in outdoor treatments. Limitless color combinations and graphic designs can be used to transform damaged existing concrete or other materials into cementitious art forms, without affecting surrounding materials and fixtures.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Limitations Certain aggressive stains, such as animal waste, proteins and hydraulic fluids, may produce "shadowing" in the finished flooring. Any of these materials found on the substrate should be cleaned with an appropriate cleaner and then sealed with a water-based epoxy. Micro-Top will bond tenaciously to foreign materials that are bonded to the substrate, but the ultimate bond strength of Micro-Top is dependent on the bond strength of the foreign material.
Cautions Keep out of the reach of children. Contains Portland Cement and free silica. See Material Safety Data Sheet for complete information.
