The SCM Series is comprised of the following components:
Sub Floor: Consisting o a 6 mil vapor barrier followed by an 1/8 inch thick leveling dielectric media.
Panels: Minimum 28 ga. (.0 187) to I I ga. (. 1233) galvanized steel laminated to 3/4 inch core material. Shielding panels carry a Class A fire rating.
Framing: 1/8 inch thick zinc plated members which, when bolted together, provide a RF tight clamping action on the panel edges.
Corners: Cast, machined bronze corner caps are used on inner and outer trihedral corners.

high performance ease
of operation, and long-term
reliability for the medical community.
ARCHITECTURALLY SHIELDED DOORS
Braden's "Mirage" door incorporates innovative design improvements over the other doors currently available.
Our semi-concealed RF contacts are secured within the door frame, not on the door leaf where they can be easily damaged. This insures
complete protection of the contact, resulting in reliable RF integrity under the most demanding conditions of hospital or clinical use.
The Mirage "classroom" latch operates and is exactly like a standard medical suite or office door.
Other positive features include: a full 4' x 7' clear opening, a flush doorsill, and a variety of natural wood or laminated finishes.
RF WINDOWS
Braden's windows feature a double layer of heavy wire cloth uniquely constructed to minimize the annoying visual moiré patterns present with
many competitive windows. To architecturally "open up" the MRI suite for patient comfort, storefront windows or skylight designs are also
available.

TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
From project concept to completion, Braden has an experienced staff of specialists to assist you in all phases of project design and
construction.
ON-TIME DELIVERY
With more than seventy years experience in custom fabrication, Braden is fully prepared to meet your delivery deadlines. And, with our typical
RF installation time of less than one week, your entire construction schedule can be compressed. Our experience is well documented by an
extensive list of satisfied customers.
INSTALLATION
Installation of the enclosure is fast and efficient and will be performed by Braden. Each individual installation is project managed from our Tulsa
plant.
Each component is coded and numbered for a customized preassigned fit at the job site. Once on location, our crews assemble each
shielding component into its designed location. Braden's crews have the expertise to make adjustments to the shield at the time of installation.
TESTING
Braden provides complete testing services for all of our RF shielded enclosures. Your enclosure will have a RF radiated test, in accordance
with MIL-STD-285, to ensure that its performance exceeds the requirements of the MRI supplier you selected.
Braden's facility, Tulsa, Oklahoma
Performance testing is comprised of a Qualification Test upon completion of the enclosure, prior to any interior finishing or construction and an
Acceptance Test after completion of the interior construction.
During construction, isolation tests will be performed to ensure that the enclosure is isolated from ground by a minimum of 1,000 ohms.
We would welcome the opportunity to discuss your next project with you. For additional information about our MRI shielded enclosures, call (918) 272-5371, or FAX (918) 272-1129.
