RE-ROOFING SYSTEM

Most roof repairs are really only temporary solutions. By their very nature, most built-up roof systems ultimately leak.

Butler offers two long-term solutions to roof problems - the Low Profile Retrofit Metal Over Metal System and the Slope Build-Up Re-Roof System.

The Low Profile Retrofit Metal Over Metal System allows an MR-24 standing seam roof system to be installed over an existing through-fastened rib type roof (The existing roof must have a minimum slope of 1/4:12 and major corrugation heights of 1 1/2'' or less). This system features a complete line of accessories – including seamed-in curbs and stainless steel gutters–designed to fit perfectly with the MR-24 roof system.

The Slope Buildup Re-Roof System is designed for buildings with flat built-up or membrane roofs. Two Butler roof systems may be used, depending on the roof slope. For nearly flat roofs with minimum slopes of 1/4:12, the system employs the MR-24 roof system. For higher-slope applications where the roof plays a predominant role in the building’s appearance, the VSR ™ architectural roof system may be used.

In most cases, you can install either re-roof system right over your existing built-up, single-ply or metal roof. This saves you from tearing off your current roof and avoids an interruption of your business activities during the process.
