Cabot Stains Page - 1

The different opacities mark the signature of Cabot Stains' product selections, which range from the naturally translucent tones of Cabot Clear solution, to the lustrous, rich solids of Cabot Finish
All of these possibilities are individually beautiful and even more striking when used in combination.

Untreated Wood
Nothing is more impressive, but if left unprotected, it will slowly be destroyed.

Translucent
Enhances and protects wood in its most natural state.
Cabot Clear Solution

Semi-Transparent
Lightly pigmented, to bring out the natural wood grain and character.
Semi-Transparent Stains, Bleaching Oil, Weathering Stain

Semi-Solid
More heavily pigmented for added ultra-violet ray protection, but not completely opaque.
Semi-Solid Stains, Decking Stains

Solid (Flat)
Complete opacity for maximum color and UV protection.
O.V.T. Solid Color Oil Stains
O.V.T. Solid Color Acrylic Stains

Solid (Low-Lustre)
Also completely opaque-but with a low-gloss sheen, that produces a lustrous appearance and improves the washability of the surface.
Cabot Finish, Cabot Factory Finish,
Cabot Solid Color Decking Stains with Teflon Surface Protector
