Wire cloth may be ordered in any quantity, in bulk rolls, cut pieces, or pre-shaped, with a minimum of difficulty by following a few simple guidelines. Take care that we get all pertinent information accurately, and we'll see that you promptly receive exactly what you need. If you have special requirements or questions, our Sales and Applications Engineers can help you. They have helped many with needs for special metals and alloys, special designs, non metallics like PVC, Teflon or polyester, and more.

Please keep in mind the following points when ordering cloth or requesting a quotation:

APPLICATION - State how the cloth is to be used and any particular problems to be overcome. Send samples of current cloth being used, if possible.

QUANTITY - Give the number and length of rolls or  pieces. A standard roll consists of 100 lineal feet, but as it is impractical to weave an exact length, a tolerance of plus or minus 10% will apply unless otherwise specified in advance.

WIDTH - Specify width of each roll or piece. Widths up to 60" are often available from stock. Much greater widths can be supplied on special order.

MESH OR SIZE OF OPENING - Specify number of meshes per lineal inch, or length and width of openings.

WIRE - Specify wire size in decimal parts of an inch.

METAL - Wire cloth can be woven of nearly any ductile metal or alloy. Please specify.

ALTERNATE SPECIFICATIONS - Quicker delivery or a lower price may be obtained if acceptable alternatives are specified.

SPECIAL SCREENS AND CUT PIECES - Care should be used to specify exact sizes of pieces, including tolerances where applicable.

REPEAT ORDERS - When a previous order is to be duplicated, please give the number and date of the prior order.

SPECIAL EDGES - Special edge finishes can be supplied as per specifications.

SAMPLES - Upon request, we are happy to furnish samples of standard wire cloth in stock. Indicate use, decimal size of wire, opening or mesh, type of metal.

DELIVERY - Our large and varied stocks allow us to make immediate shipment of many specifications. A large inventory of raw materials and flexible production scheduling often permit prompt delivery even of special orders.
