Carboline Protective Coatings & Linings - Page 15

Alkyds

Carboline alkyds are VOC compliant and designed for industrial or commercial use.

One of the most widely used coatings types are the alkyds. Commonly referred to as oil base paints such as Linseed, Soya, tall oil, long oil and Castor oil. Even available in water borne versions for special conditions.

If a single word was used to describe alkyds, it would be versatile; fast cure bakeable products for the OEM and fabricator market to slow dry, penetrating materials with excellent wetting for maintenance of hard to clean structures and equipment. Alkyds are an excellent choice for mild environments requiring aesthetically pleasing economical coatings.
