| Polyurethanes Exterior High Gloss Coatings, Heavy Duty Linings and Moisture Cured Products Industrial grade Polyurethane coatings are single and two component materials, split into two major categories. Thin film (1 to 5 mils) for use as topcoats to protect against exterior weathering and chemical attack; thicker flexible films (20 mils and up) used for abrasion resistance and waterproofing. Thin film Polyurethanes are typically utilized as topcoats over epoxy or zinc primers. They can have a very high gloss level and are available in a wide variety of colors as well as clear. Carboline Polyurethane finish coats can be found on bridges, tanks, towers, ships, buildings, dams, antennas, trucks, trailers, railcars, structural steel, offshore platforms, pipelines and piers. Thick film Polyurethanes are used to line water retaining structures, protect tanks and chutes from abrasion and to coat concrete floors. Their great flexibility and dense thick structure allow them to perform under severe conditions that would normally destroy other paints. Polyurethane Finishes
