Zincs

World's Leading Steel Primers

Inorganic zinc primers are two component, high performance, coating materials; a zinc powder and a liquid activator are mixed together just prior to application. Spray applied, with common industrial paint spray equipment, the resultant film is equal to hot dip galvanizing for weathering protection and superior to the galvanized in its chemical resistance. Unlike galvanizing, inorganic zinc can be topcoated with a wide variety of high performance coatings to add to the overall life and appearance. Un-topcoated Carbo Zinc 11 panels have over 40,000 hours of salt fog testing with no corrosion.

The Carboline Company is the world leader in developing, producing and selling inorganic zinc coatings and has, over the last 50 years, protected over 2 billion square feet of steel.
