Radiance low-e wall finish can be applied in one coat over a primed or previously painted surface.  For normal wall surfaces, use a roller, brush or sprayer. One important thing to keep in mind is that Radiance must be the outermost layer on a wall to be effective. If you cover it with standard paint or wallpaper, it loses its energy-efficient qualities.
