HOW TO SPECIFY BERYLEX IN YOUR DESIGN FOR DURABLE CONCRETE

BERYLEX PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATIONS

Required in all concrete. Add 12 ounces liquid concentrate depending upon needs of BERYLEX, approved equal admix per sack of cement. Use according to manufacturers directions. Concrete admix (required in all concrete for this project) shall contain 100% in-organic chemical cementing compound, which added to the mix: Resistance to acid and alkali, workability, water tightness and durability of concrete. Admix shall contain no insoluble curds. artificial void fillers. no oils. fats. stearates or other "waterproofing" materials.



BERYLEX CLOSED SPECIFICATIONS

To all concrete add 12 ounces liquid concentrate per sack of cement. Concrete shall contain a minimum of 5 bags of type 1 Portland Cement to each cubic yard: Admix shall contain 100% in-organic cementing compound, admix shall contain no insoluble curds, artificial void fillers, no oils, fats, stearates or other "Waterproofing" materials.



Leaching out of components of the hardened cement paste by water percolation is practically impossible in a mix containing BERYLEX Liquid Concentrate especially in the proportions recommended for use against acid attack.


These benefits exist in all mixes containing BERYLEX Liquid Concentrate. They are increased as the proportion of BERYLEX is increased. The more BERYLEX Liquid Concentrate used, the faster the setting and the harder the mix.
