ADMIXTURE
1. Measure out 8 to12 ounces, as
required, BERYLEX Liquid Concentrate per each 94 lbs. sack of
common Portland Cement.
2. Pour this into the gauging water that is to be used for the batch mix.
3. NOTE: Always blend the BERYLEX Liquid Concentrate into
the mix prior to adding any additional water.
4. This is important to the BERYLEX Liquid Concentrate
function.
IF DELIVERY IS BY BATCH TRUCK DELIVERY:
1. Always specify a low slump 2" to
3" from batch plant.
2. Measure out desired amount of BERYLEX Liquid Concentrate
per each sack of cement.
3. Pour this into an empty 5 gallon container. Fill up half way and stir.
4. Stop revving truck hopper.
5. Dump this solution into hopper and rev again for 5 to 6 minutes, then pour out.
6. BERYLEX Liquid Concentrate mix is easier for the
finisher to work with, due to the tact that it is a richer mix. It is easier to push,
easier to level out and much easier to trowel.
7. BERYLEX Liquid Concentrate can be added at the batch
plant by dumping it into hopper after dry mix goes into drum. It is important to cut back
on water by at least 12%, when adding water to the batch.
8. When working with portable mixer, dilute 1 quart of BERYLEX Liquid
Concentrate to 5 gallons or water. Stir and use only this solution for the
wet mix (no other water).
9. Do not use any other admixtures, only common Portland Cement.
10. NOTE: Always wash off tools and equipment when the job is
completed. If a BERYLEX mix dries on metal tools, they are no longer
usable. The cement mix is there to stay.
11. Conforms to: ASTM - C - 494 - TYPE A.
