FABRICATION
LAYOUT:
There are all different kinds of layout procedures. The most accurate and preferred method
is templates. WHY? Templates are made on site in the exact shape or configuration of the
finished sizes of counter top needed or desired. Plus, when templates are made, no cabinet
changes can be made without notice at time of installation, thus, protecting you against
untruthful customers and contractors. Counter top alterations and changes after the fact
are unnecessary, and can be costly to you.
STEP 1:
Place template (or measurements) onto the desired piece. Make marks or lines accordingly
to your particular needs. Keep in mind to allow 1/16" to 1/8" to be trimmed off
all finished edges.
STEP 2:
Cut pieces as desired using only a triple - chip carbide circular table saw blade (7
1/4" circular saw - 40) (10" table saw - 60 teeth)
