A convenient low-cost solution to obtaining flow data in channels and pipelines, Plasti-Fab manufactures flumes for a variety of applications- including Parshall flumes - the most widely known (and used) flume for permanent installations. Designed to measure rate of flow in open channels, our corrosion-resistant flumes are constructed completely from fiberglass-reinforced polyester (or stainless steel when required). For extremely severe effluents, flumes are also available in vinyl ester of Atlac Bisphenol A polyester. Fire retardant may be added to the resin when required. Plasti-Fab flume products are resisting corrosion in abusive environments all around the world.

Slide Gates are mechanically operated gates that may be partially opened (modulated). Actuators for Slide Gates are available in electric, gas-powered or hand-operated designs. Slide Gates can be supplied with seals for tight shut-off applications requiring very low leakage rates.
Sluice Gates are heavy-duty, mechanically-operated gates for high operating heads. Adjustable wedging mechanisms make Sluice Gates particularly suitable for long-term tight-closure, high-heads, and throttling conditions that frequently cause vibration and high stress.

Plasti-Fab provides a variety of heavy-duty stop logs for a variety of applications. These logs are solid FRP planks two inches or more thick, that can be stacked on top of each other and removed as required by special lifting eyes. Plasti-Fab can provide FRP or stainless steel guides for these stop logs.
