CORIAN is made from pure acrylic, the same material used for pacemaker housings and surgical implants. CORIAN is nonporous. It cannot absorb fluids. It cannot harbor bacterial. CORIAN is approved for use in environments where HIV-infected blood products are handled.

Continuous wall cladding of CORIAN eliminates open seams, pores and voids. This helps assure the most sterile conditions possible.
