"Before we put the CORIAN^® in, the number one comment from guests was on cleanliness," Saunders says." We actually bought our house-keeping people white gloves, so they could go up to the rooms and show guests that the stonework really was clean. With CORIAN^® that doesn’t happen. It’s been an asset, beyond a doubt, for our housekeeping department.

"In terms of maintenance, you can’t even compare it," Saunders says. "If anything happens to CORIAN^®, with light sanding it’s a brand new top again."

Rapid Retrofit After just six years of service, stone surfaces were seriously cracked and stained. "lt was embarrassing, because we’re running a top-notch resort," Saunders says. The retrofit to CORIAN® was less difficult than thought. "The hardest part was getting the stonework because it was heavy and awkward. But the CORIAN® slipped right in with no problem.The sinks were already attached. It was great."

"Now that we know you can do just about anything with CORIAN^®, We’re working on some innovative designs for the front desk, using rounded pedestals. Our goal is to bring the whole property over to CORIAN^®, because it’s just such a fabulous product. CORIAN^® is a product that’s really going to take this industry by storm."
