After All This Years

Twenty-two years ago, the second-oldest independent bank in Texas installed transaction surfaces of CORIAN® at all teller stations. Result? Money in the bank.

Because after approximately ten million transactions, the CORIAN® surfaces throughout the bank look as good as the day they were installed.

CORIAN® was chosen for teller transaction counters for two reasons: because of its elegant, reassuring aesthetics and because of the bank’s trust in DuPont products. With a DuPont manufacturing site nearby, the bank had long-standing relationships with the company and many of its employees.

Yet if you’d asked them back then, surely no one at the bank or DuPont would have believed that the CORIAN® surfaces would still look like new after 22 years in Service-After all, CORIAN® was still a relatively new product in 1975.

How many more years will CORIAN® continue to faithfully serve customers in this Texas bank? That’s anybody’s guess. But after 22 years, the beauty, durability and long-term value of CORIAN® are generating more interest than ever.
