Cultured Stone® veneer is created by master craftsmen who select the best textures, sizes and shapes from the finest natural stones. Cultured Stone® products are cast in molds made from these stones and finished in a process that replicates existing colors and textures with meticulous detail. Each color and texture has its own blend of ingredients:

Portland cement, lightweight aggregates and iron oxide pigments. Even on close examination, these manufactured stones look and feel like the originals.

Cultured Stone®  veneer is sized and shaped for quick, easy installation and is so light in weight that it needs no additional foundation or support. Average thickness is 1-3/4". Durable and colorfast indoors or out, it's covered by a 30-year limited warranty and is available nationwide through more than 850 dealers.

Installation Instructions

Be sure to get Cultured Stone®   full detailed installation instructions from your dealer or from Cultured Stone Corporation before beginning a project.

Cultured Stone®  veneer can be used on any structurally sound wall surface, including those where full-thickness natural stone won't work, either structurally or economically. Its light weight and quick adhesion allow for fast, easy footings or wall ties.

Each piece of Cultured Stone® veneer is applied individually with Type N mortar and attaches permanently to the wall surface.

Masonry or concrete:

In sequence: (1) mortar applied directly to untreated, unpainted masonry, concrete or stucco, (2) Cultured Stone® veneer, (3) mortar joint.

Hearthstones

For each wallstone, there's a matching or complementary hearthstone. Nine colors of rectangular hearthstones (19"x20" with a 1-3/4" average thickness) provide a tailored look, while Water Wash Pavers in Stream Stone colors (1-3/4" thick) offer a more rugged, less formal hearth option.
