Smoke seals per 101 LIFE SAFETY CODE and NFPA 105
Mfg. by and available only through DOOR AND HARDWARE SYSTEMS, INC.

FEATURES

  • Patented & superior product design allows "Cush 'N' Seal" to compensate for over 1/4" in plumb, warp, twist, or thermal bow due to changes in humidity and temperature.
  • Mounts on the lock jamb rabbet - not on the stop. Does not push the door away from the stop.
  • Layered fins "absorb" the door impact.
  • "Super strength" adhesive never dries out.
  • Digital photo shows ease of "cutting in" when painting new frame or strike jamb touchups.

BENEFITS

  • A continuous "self compensating" seal maintains quadruple insulation and sound attenuation. Maximum sound absorption. Reduction in heat and AC losses.
  • Allows almost 1/8" more latch clearance which reduces. complaints that the lever feels "hard to turn" or the deadbolt does not "throw".
  • Eliminates the band and "chatter" on the latch.
  • Eliminates replacement costs caused by product failure.
Eliminates rust from screw holes in frame.
  • Eliminates product hardening from paint buildup under the "teardrop". Time and material savings.
