DOOR THICKNESS: 1-3/4" to 2" standard (1-3/8" to 2-1/4" consult factory)
CASE: 5-7/8" x 4-1/8" x 7/8". 13 gauge heavy duty wrought steel. Coated black oxide for corrosion resistance. Once case size for all functions
BACKSET: 2-3/4"
ARMORED FRONT: 8" x 1-1/4". Brass and stainless steel. ANSI Standard A115.1. Adjustable from flat to beveled 1/8" in 2" bevel
DEADBOLT: 9/16" x 1-1/4". 1" throw. Stainless steel.
GUARD BOLT: Stainless steel. Non-handed.
LATCHBOLT:1. 5/8" x 1 ". 3/4" throw. Stainless steel, anti-friction. Field reversible. Meets all performance and dimensional specifications of ANSI A156.13, 1000, Grade
STOP WORKS: Extra heavy duty to combat excessive torque applied to lever. Stainless steel. Rocker type
HAND CASE: Handed. Reversible in field.
HAND TRIM: Handed. Reversible in field.
HUBS: Sintered copper infiltrated iron
SPRINGS: High carbon steel
STRIKE: Brass or stainless steel. 4-7/8" x 1-1/4" x 3/32" (ASA) Curved lip for deadbolt functions are handed. Curved lip for latchbolt functions are non-handed.
CYLINDER: Brass. 1-1/8" standard length. 6 pin standard.
KEYWAYS:Available in the keyways of most major manufacturers and interchangeable core
KEYS:Two (2) change keys per lock. Brass or nickel silver
KEYING: MK, CK, CMK, GMK. Available zero bitted (KO), Keyed Different (KD), Keyed Alike (KA). Construction cylinders available. Can be keyed into existing masterkey systems of other manufacturers

 U.L./C U.L. LISTING: Listed for "A" Label (3 hour) for use on fire doors; single or pairs

SUGGESTED SPECIFICATIONS

DM 1 SERIES MORTISE LOCKS HEAVY DUTY GRADE 1

Locksets will be DM 1 series from Door Opening Systems. Made in America with a two (2) year manufacturer's warranty. All lock bodies shall conform to Federal Specification FF-H-106 Type 86 and to all dimensional specifications of ANSI A156.13 (1991 Series 1000, Grade 1. 15 ANSI mortise lock functions shall be available in one of two different lock cases and all functions shall be accessible without removing the case cover. All handing shall be reversible in the field, without disassembly of lock case. Latchbolt can be fully retracted with 35° lever rotation. Lever to be able to break away, rotate 360°, and be re-set, thus preventing forced entry on security functions. Lever shall return to within 1/2" of door. Locksets shall be listed by UL/c UL for ratings of "A" (3 hours) label and less, for single doors up to 4'0" x 8'0" and pairs of doors 8'0" x 8'0". All locksets shall have a two (2) year limited warranty from date of installation. All locksets shall meet or exceed all applicable requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
