The Process
The finest quality woods from around the world are hand selected with careful control of sapwood, grain, mineral streaks, knots and moisture. Custom milled to one thousandth of an inch, the various exotic and domestic woods will advance to the laser for more precise cutting. After cutting, the parts are hand assembled and taped ready for shipment. Gluing onto 1/2 inch substrate is available for a nominal feel.

Applications
These intricately laser cut inlays are used to enhance and add value by extending the design theme to any residential, or commercial project. Medallions are installed as logos, family coat of arms, or ornate focal points. Borders will decorate the perimeter of a room, furniture, fireplace hearth, soffit or mantel facings. Some other applications are risers for stairs, transition pieces acting as a decorative threshold and table or counter tops. These beautiful inlays are easily installed into most any floor.

Standard Designs
Over a dozen different borders and medallions are available within our standard line. Species changes within our standard line will further expand your selection by creating different color and grain effects

Custom Design
Extend your specific design theme with your imagination being your only restriction. Numerous types of wood species and grains are available to compliment your design. This process will take approximately six to eight weeks.

Finishing
All inlays are typically  manufactured unfinished and are finished on the job site. We are pleased to announce Prefinished borders and medallions are now available in three different clear sheens to compliment any prefinished flooring available. Call for quotation and additional information.

Our powerful dual beam laser easily cuts out designs and patterns to five thousandth of an inch in accuracy.

Standard Wood Species
This selection consists of Red Oak, White Oak, Mahogany, Maple, Walnut, American Cherry and Padauk.

Exotic Wood Species
Are obtained from environmentally friendly forestry programs so as not to damage our protected rain forest. Birdseye Maple, Curly Maple, Wenge, Purple Heart, Amarillo, Brazilian Cherry, Royal Mahogany, Peruvian Walnut, Winter Cut Holly and many others are available for additional costs.
