Doors-Manual/Automatic

MANUAL DOORS

MANUAL BALANCED DOORS
Specially located pivot points give these doors exceptional handling under extreme building pressures, wind conditions and door weight or height. Manual balanced doors help meet the lower opening force requirements of the ADA.

ICU/CCU MANUAL SLIDING DOORS
Our manual sliding breakaway doors provide smooth, quiet operation, while allowing maximum accessibility to patient rooms. Available in 2-, 3- and 4-leaf configurations, the doors slide open for normal use but can be specified with breakaway sidelite panels that swing out 90° for emergency access of hospital staff and equipment.

AUTOMATIC DOORS & OPERATORS

R-1 AUTOMATIC SWING DOORS
These door-and-frame packages come fitted with our fully automatic R-1 operators. The operators can also be used alone to retrofit existing manual doors. R-1 door packages are excellent choices for high-traffic areas and help building owners comply with the ADA.

R-2 LOW-ENERGY SWING DOOR OPERATOR
Our easy-to-install low-energy unit is an economical alternative for making existing manual doors ADA compliant. The R-2 can also be specified as part of a new door-and-frame package. Low energy allows the door to be stopped with 15 pounds of   force or less in either the opening or closing cycle without operator damage.

R-3 AUTOMATIC SLIDING DOORS
In single-slide configurations or biparting pairs, these adjustable power- open/power-close units allow buildings to comply with the ADA as well as handle high volumes of traffic. The doors are available with emergency breakaway features in sidelites or sliding leaf sections.

AUTOMATIC BALANCED DOORS
These doors offer the same ease of handling as our manual balanced doors, with the added advantage of the R-4 operator's fully automatic or low-energy powered operation. Either type of operation will allow these doors to comply with the ADA.
