ENTRANCES
SERIES D200, D300, AND D500 ENTRANCES These EFCO entrance designations will satisfy your
requirements for most applications. There are three stile widths: 2-1/8" (Series
D200), 3-1/2" (Series D300), and 5" (Series D500). AR are l-3/4" thick with
a nominal wall thickness of .125" and have reinforced welded comers. They are
available with butt hinges, offset or center pivots, continuous geared hinges, and include
maximum-security dead-bolt locks. These entrances will accept virtually any lock or exit
device, and operating hardware may include overhead-, floor-, or surface-mounted closers.
They will accommodate 3/16" to 1-1/8" glass and are compatible with all EFCO
storefront systems.
SERIES D318 AND D518 DURASTILE™ AND D538 DURASTILE PLUS ENTRANCES
These heavy-duty entrances are designed for high-traffic applications like schools,
hospitals, and shopping malls. The 3-1/2" (Series D318) and 5" (Series D518) are
both 2" thick. The 5" DuraStile Plus (Series D538) is 2-1/4" thick. All
have a nominal wall thickness of .188" and reinforced welded comers. These systems
incorporate many of the same features as the standard entrances. However, they require
heavy-duty butt hinges, heavy-duty offset pivots, or heavy-duty continuous geared hinges
for maximum long-term durability. They will accommodate 3/16" to 1-1/8" glass
and panels with snap-in bead glazing.
SERIES D202, D302, AND D502 THERMASTILE™ ENTRANCES
These narrow-, medium- and wide-stile doors are available in widths of 2-1/4", 3-1/2
and 5" respectively. Their double InsulbarŪ thermal barrier allows the design
flexibility of different interior and exterior colors. The systems are available in either
single- or double-door configurations. They accommodate 3/16" to 1-1/8" glass
and panels. Nominal wall thickness is .125". All three configurations are
compatible with EFCO wall systems and can handle surface- mounted, concealed overhead, or
floor-mounted closers.
