MECHANICAL LEAK DETECTOR (STP-MLD) SPECIFICATIONS

• The STP-MLD shall be UL listed and CSA certified.
• The STP-MLD Body and Cover shall be manufactured from ASTM A48 Class 25 gray iron.
• The "O" Ring seals shall be of high grade elastomers to withstand gasoline combinations and wear.
• The piston and stem seals shall be of a high grade teflon to withstand gasoline combinations and wear.
• The piston cylinder is burnished brass to ensure a good surface to eliminate wear of the piston seal.
• The piston is solid construction with no relief valves to cause external leaking.
• The STP-MLD shall be clearly marked with pertinent information including Manufacture, Model Number and Date Code.
• The STP-MLD shall be manufactured by FE Petro, Inc., McFarland, WI.

• The STP-MLD shall be compatible with 4" Submerged Turbine Pumps and adapter Tee Housings designed to accept a Mechanical Line Leak detector.
• Each STP-MLD will come complete with all fittings, tubing, and installation instruction required to install in a Submerged Turbine Pump.
• Each STP-MLD will come with a warranty registration form.
• The STP-MLD is maintained by being unit replaceable.

• The STP-MLD shall indicate a minimum of 3 gallons per hour leak at 10 psi.
• The STP-MLD shall restrict flow if a leak is indicated.
• The STP-MLD shall catch leaks at a minimum of 10 feet above the STP manifold.
