Once an FE Petro High Capacity pump is removed from the tank, drive bolts are provided to mechanically "drive" the pump-motor off the discharge head. Competitive make pumps do not provide this. Removal of their motor is a process of prying and wrestling the unit off the discharge head, making motor replacement even more time consuming, and adding to service expense.

4. Pump Motor Interchangeability
   

FE Petro offers replacement pump motors for 3 & 5 HP pumps originally manufactured by Red Jacket and Tokheim, as well as FE Petro. All motors used in replacement pump motor assemblies carry the necessary UL listing label. Replacement motors for use on existing Red Jacket 3 or 5 HP units must be ordered specifically for their unit, by specifying an "RJ" in the model number. For example, the model number for an FE Petro or Tokheim replacement 3 HP motor is model PMA –3. The equivalent model number for a Red Jacket 3 HP motor is PMA-3 RJ.

5. Additional Standard Features
   

FE Petro High Capacity pumps have the following additional features :

• Dual 180 degree opposed horizontal 3" flanged discharge outlets.
• Dual line check valves for reduced flow restrictions.
• Dual pressure relief valves, one for each discharge outlet, set to relieve line pressure greater than 30 PSI.

6. Optional Syphon Primer and Syphon Check Valve
   

This option allows the manifolding of tanks of like product using a syphon piping configuration. Once this option is installed, the pump pulls a vacuum on the syphon piping automatically priming the syphon system, and holds the vacuum once the system is primed. The syphon system then transfers product from tank to tank even when the pump is not running.

7. Alcohol/Gas Compatibility Option

Alcohol / Gas compatibility is available as an option for applications requiring the system equipment to be compatible now or in the future with any blend combination from 0% to 100% ethanol or methanol with gasoline, 20% MTBE or 20% ETBE with gasoline, and 17% TAME with gasoline. The competition does not offer A/G compatibility.
