
AQUA FLASH 500
A 40 mil sheet type flashing membrane consisting of 8 mils of a high density cross
laminated polyethylene film bonded to 32 mils of highly adhesive rubberized asphalt
with a silicone coated release liner.

Product Description:
AQUA FLASH 500 is a self sticking flashing with the following features:
Self-sealing
Self-healing if damaged somewhat due to the rubberized asphalt's ability to elongate
and recover
Excellent puncture resistance
No reglet needed when adhering membrane to vertical substrate

Installation:
AQUA FLASH 500 should be cut into 8-10 foot lengths. Remove the release liner and
apply membrane to substrate. Once membrane is in place, use a steel hand roller to
firmly secure flashing. All side laps should be a minimum of 2-1/2 inches. Inside and
outside corners must be covered with two layers of membrane and sealed with AQUA
FLASH mastic.

When necessary, AQUA FLASH 500 can be applied as part of a system which uses
both the AQUA FLASH mastic and AQUA FLASH primer.
AQUA FLASH Mastic
Product Description: AQUA FLASH Mastic is a highly rubberized asphalt adhesive
used in conjunction with the AQUA FLASH membrane
Use: Seals all horizontal terminations, seams, laps, protrusions, accidental cuts or
punctures
AQUA FLASH Primer
Product Description: AQUA FLASH Primer is a water based adhesive used in
conjunction with the AQUA FLASH membrane
Use: If the substrate is not dirt free, or the membrane will not adhere properly.
Installation: Spray, roll or brush apply AQUA FLASH Primer at a rate of 200-300
square feet per gallon. Dry until tack free and cover with AQUA FLASH membrane
within 24 hours.
