SPECIFICATIONS
Florida Block/Arizona Block Windows manufactures 3" and 1 1/2" acrylic block custom windows in aluminum and vinyl frames. The aluminum frames are thermally broken 6063 T5 extruded aluminum alloy with a thickness of .062 and are joined using #8 x 1 zinc plated screws. All vinyl frames are welded and have .090" nominal wall thickness. Units are glazed with impact modified acrylic blocks. All joints are sealed with a high performance, mildew resistant sealant, or aluminum grids which match the frame color.

Sound Transmission Class - ASTM-E90 and E4134-87 STC=29

Performance Class - Both aluminum and vinyl products carry a Heavy Commercial (HC) rating and are tested in accordance with the following standards: AAMA 101-93, AAMA 101/I.S. 2-97, AAMA 1701.2-1985.

Glazing - Tested and approved for safety glazing in accordance with ANSI  Z97.1 - 1984 (R1994)

Thermal Performance Class - ASTM C1199-1 and AAMA 1503.1-88; Tested U-Value .499 @15mph wind and tested R-Value 2.003 @ 15mph wind (3" block). 1 1/2 block thermal testing underway (October '97).

Light Transmission - 91.6%

Condensation Resistance Factor - (CRF) 52

INSTALLATION
All windows shall be installed in a level, plumb, and square condition without racking or forcing the frame. Units must be caulked around the perimeter of the frame to prevent water leakage. At no time are any abrasive, petroleum based solvents, or alcohol cleaners to come in contact with the acrylic block windows. Acrylic block windows must be cleaned using a mild detergent and water solution only.

WARRANTY
Our Windows are warranted against defects in material, workmanship, and discoloration for as long as the original purchaser owns and resides in the home. This warranty is void if the product is not installed or maintained according to Florida/Arizona Block specifications. Windows installed in rental property are warranted for five years after the date the windows are purchased.
