SOME FEATURES OF THE NORWOOD SERIES 3000

STAINLESS STEEL TRACK  A heavy gauge stainless steel track snaps into the recess of the sill and assures smooth rolling and durability.

HARDWARE  The inside handle is made of solid, extruded aluminum.  The latch is #9226 Maximum Security.  There is no finer latch. 

GLAZING  The glazing capacity is either 3/16", 1/4" or 1". This allows for a variety of different types of glass to meet architectural requirements. (Also available K/D, no glass)

TANDEM WHEELS   Each panel rolls effortlessly on  large 13/4" tandem  wheels which are pre-lubricated and sealed for life.

DELUXE SCREENS  Strong, durable, hat shaped extruded aluminum screen frames are standard.

OPTIONAL HIGH-WATER SILL  When additional water protection is required, you may specify the optional High Water Sill Extension. This raises the inside leg to 2 7/16".

OPTIONAL FLUSH THRESHOLD  For interior applications, or where weather protection is not required, a 1/2" high flush sill is available.  Note: This track is not weather tight and a screen is unavailable.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION  The Norwood Series 3000 is designed for Heavy Commercial, Commercial, and Luxury Residential projects in areas where strength and durability are required and the U-value does not demand thermal break.

I. AAMA: SGD HC-40 to SGD HC-60
II. ENERGY: U-values ranges from .52 to .75 (NFRC)
III. SOUND: STC 32 to STC 37
IV. SECURITY: Tested to the standards of AAMA 1303.5, California Model Building Security Ordinance California Uniform Building Security Code, L.A. City Building Code

NOMINAL 8' HEIGHT:  The above doors are also available in a nominal 8' height.   The exact height is 951/2".  (The glass height then becomes 90").
ROUGH OPENING:  Add 1/2" to exact size of height and width.   When working with a finished opening, the rough opening will likely vary.
*OXO(L) as listed means that the latch is on the left side of the center panel when the door is in a closed position, outside looking in.  The OXO(R) is opposite hand.  XOO and OOX are available.  The net width is 1/8" wider than the OXO.
**XOOX is also available.  The width is 13/16" wider than the OXXO.
