MARMOLEUM® Real, the original, is the most specified and installed linoleum floor covering in the world. Its beautiful marbelized appearance in 36 colors ranging from bright and bold to soft and neutral, and every taste in between, provides options for design harmony or contrast like no other floor covering.

The "natural" choice

Linseed oil is the main ingredient in linoleum. Linseed oil is produced by pressing seeds from the flax plant, the source for linen, is an easy to cultivate plant whose supply is abundant.

Wood flour is obtained through controlled forestry, including the planting of special forests, in European countries. Similar to the agriculture of the flax plant, the constantly renewable crop of trees makes woof flour virtually in exhaustible. No tropical hardwoods are ever used. Pine rosins are mixed with the oxidized linseed oil to produce a flexible binder. The pine trees from which  the rosins are extracted exist in abundance throughout the world. The backing used for linoleum is made from spun yarn of strong Jute fiber, grown primarily in India and Bangladesh. Jute is plentiful and highly renewable.

  • Available in Ohmex (Sheet only), a static dissipative linoleum with 106 -108 Ohm's resistance. Matching/contrasting welding rods available
