Description
Ruberoid polyester-reinforced mop-applied membranes are tough, resilient modified bitumen membranes manufactured to stringent GAF Materials Corporation specifications. Their core is a strong, resilient, non-woven polyester mat that is coated with flexible, SBS (Styrene-Butadiene-Styrene)-modified asphalt and surfaced with mineral granules. "FR"-designated membranes are coated with an inherently fire retardant polymer-modified asphalt. RUBEROID mop-applied membranes are designed for new roofing and reroofing applications as well as construction of flashings. They are also an ideal product for repairs of built-up roofing systems.
